LeBron James and Russell Westbrook practice together before the Lakers reunite

For all we know, the Los Angeles Lakers transferred Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell, and pick 22 in the 2021 NBA Draft to the Washington Wizards and in return, they will get Russell Westbrook, a second-round pick in 2024 and 2028.

Westbrook is expected to join LeBron James and Anthony Davis at Staples Center to form a new "Big Three" for the yellow and purple jersey team, with the goal of competing for the championship title next season.

Last season, Westbrook was outstanding, averaging 22.2 points, 11.7 assists, and 11.5 rebounds while helping the Washington Wizards reach the playoffs.

When the star wearing the number 0 shirt joins the Lakers, he promises to help the California representative solve a headache at point guard, where Dennis Schroder performed poorly last season and is likely to be excluded soon.

As for the Washington Wizards, despite parting with Russell Westbrook, they have added several quality players to replace him, including Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Montrezl Harrell, all of whom are recognised for their defensive ability.

In the 2021/2022 season, these rookies are expected to build a stable framework for the "Brigade of Wizards" so that together with the cornerstone star, Bradley Beal, they can create a team ready to compete for the high position in the NBA.
